Ready to Run!

As part of my new year's resolution of living a healthier lifestyle, my friends and I will run 5 kilometers for the Rexona Run 2010 on August 1. We are all first timers kaya super excited! hahaha. We've already registered yesterday at Glorietta 4 Timex. Excited?! but the truth is... takot maubusan ng size for the singlet! hihihi

Try muna namin ang 5k. Pag sisiw lang eh di go next time for the 21k. Why not di ba!? [That's the spirit!]

For the preparation, [sabi nila] I should have my running gears ready. Running shoes... check! Running short and shirt... mmm ... will scout pa what's best to have.

For tips; Be mentally ready and in great shape during the race. Drink a strong cup of black coffee half hour before the race. Caffaine will stimulate the fat burning. Drink regularly. The body can process approximately one liter per hour. ¹

Studies have shown that the hardest part of any distance event is the middle section, Naylor also recommends that runners strategize to conserve energy and concentration for the inevitable middle miles.²

Bad Dreams

My hubby woke me up this morning because I was crying. I was having a bad dream. I still felt the squeezing chest pain and the emotions from that dream. When i tried to recall what it is all about, I could not remember the details. All I remember is my Mom holding a house plan [i think]. Nothing more than that. [Hmmm. Ano kaya yun?]

I need some dream catcher nowadays! wew!

Dream meaning: Cry
To dream that you are crying, signifies a release of negative emotions that is more likely caused by some waking situation rather than the events of the dream itself. Your dream is a way to regain some emotional balance and a way to safely let out your fears and frustrations. In our daily lives, we tend to ignore, deny, or repress our feelings. But in our dream state, our defense mechanisms are no longer on guard and thus allow for the release of such emotions.

Left-Brained or Right-Brained?

I only see a lady turning clockwise. Nahirapan ako paikutin sya ng counter clockwise. Andyan yung sinubukan kong pumikit at tingnan ulit yung image. Ayaw. tinry ko din i-singkit ang mata ko. Ayaw pa din. Ah! baka isang mata lang. Ayaw talaga eh. Napaisip tuloy ako baka naman joke joke lang. Isa pa nga...

Sinubukan ko basahin yung instruction sa baba baka may namiss out akong dapat gawin. When i look at it again, oo nga umikot sya ng counter clockwise! hahaha! ang galing! pero mostly pa din ng nakikita ko clockwise. Which means I am random, intuitive, holistic, synthesizing and subjective.

If you see it her tuning the other way, you are using left brain.
Some people do see both ways, but most people see it only one way.

See if you can make her go one way and then the other by shifting the brain's current.

On My Birthday!

Parang kelan lang nung huling birthday ko... ngayon birthday ko na ulit. As far as I remember last year din eh may event sa Makati. Ngayon, sarado nanaman ang Ayala ave dahil 340th Foundation Anniversary ng Makati. [Malamang next year ulit]

Feeling ko tuloy they're also celebrating my birthday! hahaha

Early this morning, when i looked into my dresser's drawer, I saw a birthday card. I was surprised kasi ngayon lang ulit ako naka recieve ng birthday card. What surprised me most is kung kanino galing... it was from Andrea's nanny! kaka touch lang!

Well, eniweis.. To my family and friends, thank you for all the warm greetings! And to Papa Jesus and Mama Mary! I love you! Thank you for another year. :')

Birthday Blues

It's my birth month, and I still don't know what I wanted for my birthday! Could I ask for a genie or a shooting star that could make my wishes come true? Though they may seem fancy, i'd still wanna grab the chance. I don't really want any stuff, just peace of mind.

Yeah, there's a smile on my face ... but deep inside me, I'm crying. No matter how I tried... do things that is needed or what I wanted, I still feel empty. I'm trying to hide my tears coz I don't want anyone see me crying. I don't wanna be a burden. I'm trying to be strong because no one else will. I'd like to be the wall, that can be leaned on. Wish I could always be impregnable...

Choice of a baby BOY or GIRL

Hope it is useful for some of you in planning stage. For those of you do not have any plan in the near future, you can keep it for future reference.

Background:
Man's sperm consists of X & Y spermatozoa, X spermatozoon decides the female whereas Y is the male. Referring to these physiological properties of the spermatozoa, gynecologists set up the theory of 'Choice of a girl or a boy'.

1st factor: Food
If you want a baby girl:
Husband must eat more alkaline food, wife eats more acidic food.
If you want a baby boy:
Husband eats more acidic food, wife eats more alkaline food.
Alkaline food: vegetables, fruits, egg white, milk, algae, etc.
Acidic food: meat, seafood, etc.

2nd factor: Timing (When to do it?)
If you want a baby girl:
Frequent copulation during pre-ovulation period.
If you want a baby boy:
Copulating just before ovulation or just after ovulation.
How to confirm ovulation period:
Body temperature increases (you may want to use SPC chart to monitor your body temperature here).

3rd factor: Penetration (How to do it?)
If you want a baby girl:
Husband to avoid deep penetration in the female vagina during copulation.
If you want a baby boy:
Deep penetration by the husband is suggested.
Reasoning:
Characteristics of X & Y spermatozoa
X: Marathon runner with good stamina
Y: Sprinter but poor stamina
So, with deep penetration, the chances for Y to reach destination will be higher.

4th factor: Stimulation
If you want a baby girl:
Wife should avoid stimulation during copulation. Secretion from female vagina becomes alkaline when stimulated, therefore this promotes the activity of Y spermatozoon.
If you want a baby boy:
Husband ejaculates after wife has been stimulated.

5th factor: Wife's Preparation
If you want a baby girl:
Rinse the vagina with solution dissolving 2 spoonfuls of white vinegar in 1 liter of water. Since an acidic condition decreases activity of Y spermatozoon.
If you want a baby boy:
Rinse the vagina with solution dissolving 2 spoonfuls of soda in 1 liter of water.

6th factor: Positioning
If you want a baby girl:
Female to be on the top position & male to be on the bottom position.
If you want a baby boy:
Male to be on the top position & female to be on the bottom position. This posture allows the Y spermatozoon to reach the destination faster.

EXPLANATION
You can choose for yourself whether you want a boy or a girl by following the chart. The woman's age from 18 to 45 (Chinese reckoning) is on the top line while the months Jan to Dec indicate the month when the baby is conceived. By following the chart you will be able to tell in advance whether your baby will be a boy or a girl. Thus, you can plan to have a boy or a girl.

This chart has been taken from a Royal tomb near Peking, China. The original copy is kept in the institute of Science of Peking. The accuracy of the chart has been proved by thousands of People and is believed to be 99 percent accurate. By reckoning, you follow a line drawn from the figure representing the woman's age to a line drawn from the month the baby is conceived.

For instance, if the woman is 27 years old and her baby is conceived in Month 1 (according to the Chinese Lunar Calendar), then her baby will be a girl. The chart is based on the month the baby is conceived and not on the birth of the baby, B-Male, G-Female.

Remarks: A Chinese Scientist discovered and drew this chart which was buried in a Royal tomb about 700 years ago.
